OUT OF DATE?

Do you pay attention to those
items in your cabinets and refrigerator that states, “best if used by such and such a date?” If it
is expired, we need to throw it away.
I want to share with you some
absolutes that never go out of date.
In our culture we see an outright
attack on Biblical values and moral absolutes. We are bombarded, through media,
with anti-Christian themes and content. There
is an on-going war with the purpose of trying to declare that our Biblical
foundation in America and traditional Judeo-Christian values are “out of date.” These are the very principles that made us a
great nation! A nation of great
Don’t believe the gain-sayers! God and the Bible are always relevant,
because God cannot change and His Word is absolutely true. He wants to bless His children.
The enemy’s plan is to pervert those things
that are godly and good because he knows that the Christian who honors God
lives in love, joy, peace and righteousness. He can't stand that.
His M.O. is to kill, steal, and destroy. He wants God out of our homes, our
schools, our jobs, and our government. He tries to invade our minds with
negative thinking! Satan and his dark forces are perpetrators of all evil. Jesus
defeated him. We are to resist
him. I read the book. WE WIN!
Are we so busy that God is not
in our schedule? The truth is that
God gave us the perfect blue print for living.
It is found through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and
substantiated by Scriptures.
All negative thoughts should be
discarded, for their value has expired. But we must cling to the principles that never go out of date.
THERE IS GOOD NEWS! Christians!
We have the power to stand up and declare that
Biblical values are not out of date. When we are determined to
live our life in Jesus, there is absolutely nothing that can take the place of
a clear conscience with joy and peace.
There is power in believing, trusting and obeying!
IF IT IS GOOD, IT IS OF GOD! IF IT IS NOT GOOD, IT IS NOT OF GOD!
James 1:17 declares that “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above,
and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness,
neither shadow of turning.”
Proverbs 19:23 The fear of the Lord leads to life, And he who has it
will abide in satisfaction; He will not
be visited with evil. The fear of the Lord is to honor, worship,
reverence and love our Creator and Lord by putting Him first place.
Choose the higher ground of
Biblical values that bring the greatest blessings.
Thank you for listening and reading. May the Lord bless richly you.
