The air we breathe, the talents, abilities and creativity we have, all comes from a loving God. All creation declares His glory, strength and power. What Grace!

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD. Psalms 33:12

America was founded and built upon the fundamental principles of the Word of God. Those principles are honorable, noble and bring peace and stability, with righteousness, to a land that honors them. We are declared to be “one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all." We opened our doors to give others liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We have been a blessed nation and people because of our founding principles, like no other country on earth.

I am so glad to be a Christian living in America. What an inheritance! What a privilege! What a freedom! What a responsibility!

Freedom has always come with a price.

When a people or nation does not keep the Almighty God and Savior, in His rightful place in our personal lives and country; we become self-centered and self sufficient, only to wake up one day and realize the blessed Word of God that was neglected and shunned in our lives will be the sword of Truth by which we will be judged. There will be a day coming when hearts will cry out in mourning and travail when realizing that they were deceived and believed a lie rather than Truth.

Everything about God is pure, holy, lovely, loving, just and true. God, alone is The Giver of Life. He alone deserves our highest respect and submission. How unwise is the one who does not surrender all and allow the King of Kings and Lord of Lords to have our heart and trust. Does the clay know more than the potter? Does not the Creator of Life know what is best for us? Does not every good and perfect gift come from God?

Could it be that now these principles are being called a ‘radical right’ with scorn and contempt? Have we become so complacent and apathetic that our freedoms have diminished before us?

I would rather be “radical right” and live in peace and honor in all eternity, than face a short-lived time upon this earth in my own feeble attempts of running my own course without the power and blessings of the One who gave me life. Yet we are seeing a strong spirit arising that is saying, “We want to do it our way!” “Let’s take God out of the equation.”

Blessed is the one who has God as their Lord. Jesus paid the supreme sacrifice of love and obedience to give us love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and self-control; plus a supernatural strength to live above our own weaknesses. He is The Light that guides us out of the depths of the dark sin sickness of our wretched souls. What a peace and blessing comes with the Gift of personal relationship with our Creator. What joy when we walk in repentance and forgiveness. It is the only way we are lifted out of darkness of our own destructions. Wow, what an exchange from man’s inept and foolish ways.

Yes, I would rather be “radically right “and have favor with God, which brings a mind free of struggle and a soul that has peace, which is far above anything I could ever achieve in my puny attempts. God’s love heals the heart, brings unity and lifts others out of despair and defeat. It is a giving and supernatural love like nothing the human heart can conceive. Self-efforts can never rise to that high level. God’s laws and principles bring peace and unity for they are conceived in love.

We, in the right, have been given a great weapon of defense: prayer and God’s promises; IF we abide in the love and obedience of our Creator. It is not automatic. Make no mistake, the enemy hates God and the children of God. We have been given a special privilege, as Christians; we can pray, with authority and love, over our enemy.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. Proverbs 14:34

As Christians, we are told that we are to seek wisdom. We are also given this admonition: Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try (test) the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1

My personal declaration of independence: It is better to be “radically right”, on God’s side, than to be radically wrong and suffer the consequences. As coined in our national currency which we have been given the privilege to earn: “In God We Trust.”

With blessings,

Ephesians 3:20
