Do you Know?

Do You Know?  That you are greatly and unconditionally loved of God?  (Jeremiah 31:3; John 3:16).  Also, you are fearfully and wonderfully made? (Psalms 139:14)

Do You Know?  Because of Gods love, He provided a way for you to be eternally saved as well as have purpose and destiny in this life (Acts 4:1, Jeremiah 29:11-1).

Do You know?  That Jesus was the sacrifice for your sins and mine.  He paid the price for our redemption (bought us back from our sinful state) by His precious blood on Calvary’s cross.  He is The Way, The Truth and The Life (John 14:6) and the only way in which you can be saved and go to Heaven (Acts 4:12, Ephesians 1:7, Ephesians 2:8-9).

Do you Know?  That when you acknowledge your sinful state, call upon Jesus Christ to be your Savior, confess Him with the mouth and believe with the heart, you will be saved?  (Romans 10:9&10). The Bible tells us to be water baptized as a declaration of our salvation experience.

Do You Know?  When you receive salvation by grace and faith, The Spirit of the Living God comes and lives within your inner man or your spirit – forever!
(I John 5:11-13)

Do You Know?   A true decision is made evident by a change within. (2 Corinthians 5:17)  Now, you are a candidate to live successfully with love, joy, peace  and so much more, in this present world, through that power of God who lives within you.  The Word of God teaches us how to live.  (Romans 1:16, Philippians 1:21).

Do You Know?  That although your spirit was born again (saved, healed, , preserved, delivered and set free) your soul was not?  Oops here comes an awakening!  You are body, soul and spirit.  If your body was 5 foot two, eyes or blue, before a salvation experience, you will be 5 foot two, eyes of blue after your experience along with all the natural abilities and tendencies you were born with.  Your thoughts processes will the same.  Your soul is your mind, will and emotions.  Your soul was not saved or changed automatically.  There is work to be done – on your part. It is called discipline and obedience
(I Corinthians 6:19-20, Colossians 2:6).   Until we really get a hold of this truth, I guarantee you will struggle all of your life.  I did for over 40 years.  Why? We must understand how we are put together. It makes a difference.  God says “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”  (Hosea 4:6).   God does His part, but we must do our part!

Do You Know? That we are not smart enough, strong enough, or wealthy enough to live a Godly life.  Many try by faithfulness to church, keeping standards, seeking to win others to Christ, separation from the world, praying etc. etc. (all of this is good, just not necessarily godly). It is impossible for the flesh to live right before God.  You can try and try, but you will become frustrated, discouraged, disappointed, depressed and suppressed.  This flesh of ours has to be put down and it is only possible through the power of the Holy Spirit and knowledge of the Bible.  (Read Romans 6, 7 and 8; Romans 12:1&2).

How well I know the frustration “of trying to do” as a Christian.  For years I could not figure out what was wrong with me.  Then, praise the Lord,  I was set free and given revelation knowledge of the Word, along with power in prayer, when I experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit.  That experience changed my heart as well as my thinking and started me on a  journey of victory.  This experience is necessary  for EVERY Christian who wants victory and the abundant life – no matter what your church or denomination teaches.  It is fundamental Bible truth.  (Luke 3:16, Luke 11:13, John 6:63, John 20:22, Acts 4:31, Acts 10:44-48)

I will give you a clue for this ignorance:  The devil knows that when you are filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and Word of God – he will begin to lose His influence  and intimidation over your life.  He works to keep you in ignorance!  Churches are full of powerless Christians, many of whom act and think like the world and wonder why all the problems they encounter renders them helpless.  I hear such phrases as : ”God doesn’t care about me;”  “God doesn’t answer my prayers,”  “I am just not good enough,”  "I feel guilty"  "I can't do it" etc.  This comes from lack of knowledge of the Word.

Could this be the problem in our churches, families and our nation? That is -- the lack of Godly living which brings the blessings of Almighty God!  (Proverbs 14:34, 2 Chronicles 7:14)

Do You Know?  The enemy is defeated in your life because you have the power and all the weapons of the Word of God to be victorious.  However, many are not conquerors because they simply do not choose to study the Word and learn its precepts which instructs us on how to overcome temptation (Luke 10:19,  Philippians 1:28, 2 Timothy 2:15).

Do You Know?  As a Christian, you have been automatically inducted into the Army of God?  Yes, this life is a battlefield, whether you like it or not.  A good solider will prepare himself for war.  The good news:  You have all the Biblical equipment needed to win the battles! (2 Timothy 2:3, Ephesians 6:11-18 )

Do You Know?  Faith is simply believing what the Bible says and acting upon its Truth.  Jesus paid it all – yes all, for everything we could possible need in this life.  It was DONE.  Without faith we are told that we cannot please God.  Praying in faith is the key to unlock the doors of truth.  God will not do for you what He expects you to do.  So many are begging and trying to bargain with a Holy God and when all the answers have already been given to us if we will receive what is already ours.   It is receiving Truth and acting on its principles (Hebrews 11:l, Romans 4:17, Romans 10:17).

Do You Know?   Praise, thanksgiving, and worship of our precious Lord opens the doorway to His Presence and gives us the victory.  We are designed to worship God and that is the purpose of our creation.  It is in our relationship to and love for Jesus that gives us the ability to do this marvelous spiritual exercise (John 4:24, Hebrews 13:15, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-19, Revelation 4:11, plus a whole book of Psalms).

The questions are here to give you a guide into your own spiritual understanding. I pray you will have a thirst to learn more about a successful  spiritual journey.  The answers are as close as your Bible.

Remember:  It is not by our own effort  in the flesh that we please God.    We receive His grace, mercy, and all that He has for us by faith.  We have everything we need through salvation, the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.  It is a privilege to equip ourselves with  knowledge of the Word of God in obedience.  Then… we continue to live the blessed life.  Andrew Wommack has a powerful teaching entitled “You’ve Already Got It!”  Joseph Prince gives this great word:  “The secret of reigning in life lies with receiving everything that Jesus has accomplished for us on the cross.”   It doesn’t get better than that!

May the Lord illuminate your spirit and soul for blessings.

With love,

Jan
