Here’s granny, making her way to the airport at 4:30 am in morning;  iPhone snuggly in my purse (ready for all calls and information), my laptop slung over my carry on luggage, knowing that I would have to put all jewelry, shoes, plus present worldly possessions in that little bin, and then be “dinged” because I now have body parts put together with metal and a pat-down is a sure thing.  Why? Not only am I off to see a grandson graduate and have fun with family, but I want to prepare a Nugget of Truth for friends.

The question is what can I share with you that would make a difference in your life?  Some time I will share my full testimony and tell you that after 43 year as a Christian (saved at age 25), in church every time the door opened, “trying” to do those things that I thought was “holy” living,  and generally enduring life, I was to learn revelation knowledge that would have great impact and transformation upon my life and soul. It came from a powerful encounter with the precious Holy Spirit. After all those years,  I have said to myself: “How could I be so spiritually ignorant and still carry my Bible?”  Thank you Jesus for His grace and patience. He finally got my attention and was able to position me where I could learn revelation truth and knowledge about who I was and Who He is! (All this in my senior years.)  Therefore, Never Give Up for it is never too late!  My desire in life is to help you to get there sooner than I did.

If we would see ourselves the way God sees us, as His children, it would change our life and perspective very quickly into a powerful, positive way of thinking.  We are prone to see ourselves through our own understanding or what someone else has said about us.  Remember, God is a covenant-keeping Savior who cannot lie or tempt man to sin.  His love is an unconditional, unfailing, eternal love.  He longs for us to have a personal relationship with Him.  His Word is powerful and all Truth.  He desires for us to live in victory through obedience and the power of His precious Holy Spirit.  He is the Creator of the Universe and man, so surely He knows how to put us back together again for we are not like Humpty-Dumpty!

Why is it that we wake one day and know life is supposed to be a bowl of cherries and we are in the pits!  We are supposed to be soaring in life like the eagle.  Instead, we are like little clucking chickens, running busily around in a circle, pecking for a little grain of food (natural and organic, of course), pulling up worms.

Could it be that our life is just too busy, too hectic with too much to do that we just do not take time to be quiet. Yes, turn off the TV, close the door, grab your Bible and be still before the Lord.

The bottom line is that we make the choices in life to be what we are.  Every day, with all of its responsibilities and challenges, must make time for eternity.  When we learn how to take ownership of our thought life and emotions in a healthy way, we can quickly bring about change.  So often, we want to excuse ourselves or blame others for our conditions when all the power for right change is within us. We have powerful tools available to us and it is up to us to become disciplined and have a teachable spirit in the realm of spiritual matters.

God cares about everything that has to do with you.  He loves you far greater than any human being in your life.  He knows what is best and has a plan for you to obtain it.  It is called “surrender.”  Surrender your self-will to Him and know His will. Wonderful change will come and you can wake up knowing today is good day.  You can say  “I can have peace and joy in the abundance of the provision of the Lord my Creator of the Universe and personal Savior who is my Friend.  He loves me!”

I want to say it over and over until it becomes part of us: The answers for life are found in the Word of God.  The first step in life is a sure knowledge that we are a child of God, being born again through understanding of what Jesus did for us on the cross of Calvary.  He took all of our sins and needs upon Himself, shedding His precious blood and was victoriously raised from the dead.  He conquered death, hell and the grave.  He has already done it all, there is nothing more He can or needs to do. When we confess our sins, call upon Him for Salvation, we are in a position to learn life changing principles.

Let the following words of Truth resonate into your mind and soul.  I have written out these affirmations and Scriptures for you.  If you would read them aloud, everyday, I guarantee it will change the way you think and bring joy to your heart.  Why?  Because when you rehearse who God is and who you are in Him, change will come to you.  We are what we speak and think!  As you read, practice praise and thanksgiving.

Print it out.  Put it where you can easily read it every day.
